Orange Floral Nail Tutorial

Southern California is notorious for “not having seasons,” but around my neighborhood you can definitely tell that spring is in the air. Flowers are blooming and our garden is being planted. It’s also the perfect time to change up your typical mani colors. Try this simple and easy floral orange mani if you’re looking for something fresh and whimsical. These spring nails will help you kick off the season right.

Orange Floral Nails

  1. Paint your thumb, pointer, and pinky a bright orange color. Let dry and apply one more coat.
  2. Paint your ring and middle finger a neutral/pale color. Let dry thoroughly before next step.
  3. Using a dotting tool, apply the 5 dots in a circle with your pink polish on your ring finger. Do the same thing with your orange polish on your middle finger. Let your nails dry thoroughly before the next step.
  4. Apply dots to the center of your flowers with your contrasting polish (orange on the pink flower, pink on the orange flower.)
  5. Apply top coat and let dry.

Products I used:

For this design, I used all Olive and June products.

From left to right: Olive and June’s Rose Valley, Stinson Sunset, and BEB.

I used a very affordable set of dotting tools that can be found on Amazon HERE. I love them because they are extremely versatile and they come in an easy carrying case.
