Floral St. Patrick’s Day Nails Tutorial

Okay so the best thing about St. Patrick’s Day is probably the green beer, but who says your mani can’t match? I came up with this easy floral nail tutorial so that you can create a green nail look that feels both fresh and festive.

This design is so quick and all you need is a dotting tool or a tooth pick to achieve the results. Crank up the Flogging Molly and dig out your green polish – it’s time to get lucky!

  1. Paint your thumb, pointer, and pinky a solid green color. Let dry and apply one more coat.
  2. Paint your ring and middle finger a neutral/pale color. Let dry and apply one more coat.
  3. Using a dotting tool, apply the 5 dots in a circle with your green polish. If your nails are short (like mine) you can create halves of flowers along the top and bottom of your nail. Let your nails dry thoroughly before the next step.
  4. Apply dots to the center of your flowers with your copper/gold/yellow polish.
  5. Apply top coat and let dry.

Products I used:

For this design, I used a more affordable green and gold polish from Poparazzi nail polish because I typically don’t wear a lot of green polish. Olive and June’s BEB shade is my favorite for transparent nail designs.

I used a very affordable set of dotting tools that can be found on Amazon HERE. I love them because they are extremely versatile and they come in an easy carrying case.
