Are you the type of person that swaps out decor for every season? To be honest, I used to be a very minimal decorator and I didn’t put too much thought into seasonal decor. When I lived in our old apartment, it felt inconvenient to try to put things up and take things down. However, I think there is a lot to be said for making your home feel more like you. It can be a lot of fun to switch things up and try something new when the seasons are just starting to change.
As fall approaches in a few days, I thought I would share my dough bowl decor for this year. This decor is primarily neutral and light orange, so it would be great for a Thanksgiving table or festive fall celebration. All you need is a bowl, some faux floral stems, a few pumpkins, and your favorite candle.

Fall Dough Bowl Decor
Materials:
- Large dough bowl
- 2 faux floral bouquet stems (I used neutral stems from Michael’s)
- A few filler stems
- 1 medium sized pumpkin
- 2 small pumpkins
- A heavy candle
Instructions:
- Start off by fluffing your floral stems and placing them on opposite ends of your dough bowl.
- Take your medium pumpkin and stack it on top of the stems on one side.
- Place your candle next to the pumpkin.
- Add in your mini pumpkins and place fillers around to fill in any gaps.
Feel free to add any kind of floral you want – it’s easy to switch it up to match your color scheme. This arrangement would also look lovely with some sunflowers added in.
